Head stone. Early C18. Stone. Head has convex shoulders to top with a bridge between, and ribbons of foliage beneath each shoulder joined by a small ledge to an inwardly-turned scroll with a petalled flower to its centre. In the centre of the head, a skull and cross-bones with scythe, and leaves growing through skull. Inscribed: Here lyeth the Body of Mr. John Wise of this Parish who was Buried the 25 ? of April 17(0?)5 in the 73 year of his Age." -- -
