Possibly house, now public house, C16, with C19 facade. Timber framed, weatherboarded, with plain tile roof. Four C16 timber-framed bays, two to centre relatively narrow. Probably storeyed from beginning. Later (C19?) single-bay addition to left end. 2 storeys, on brick plinth. Roof half-hipped to left, gabled to right. Red and grey brick ridge stack to left of centre and projecting brick stack to right gable end. Irregular fenestration of 3 three-light casements; one towards each end and one to right of centre. 3 boarded doors; one left of stack, one to right of centre, and one towards right end. Weatherboarded lean-to to left, with slate roof and one two-light casement. Short single-storey rear addition with stack, to left of centre. Interior: only partly inspected. Chamfered axial beam and bevelled joists to left end bay of C16 section. Cross beam between left and left-central bays is chamfered either side of axial beam to left, and continuously chamfered to right. Cross beam between two central bays now interrupted by C20 base to stack. Cross beam between right-central and right end bays morticed for partition. Chamfered axial beam, morticed for partition, and bevelled joists, to right end bay. Mortices for four-light diamond mullion ground-floor window to former left gable end.
