The following text is from the original listed building designation:
EAST SUTTON HEADCORN ROAD TQ 84 NW (west side) Barn about 16 5/83 metres south- west of Little Moatenden GV II
Barn. C17. Timber framed, weatherboarded, on stone plinth. Plain tile roof, hipped to right (west). Double doors to left end bay. Lean-to to right and rear. Interior: 3 timber- framed bays. Left gable end rebuilt; studding otherwise intact. Tension braces. Common rafter roof with raked queen- struts to purlins. Edge-halved scarf joint.
