YALDING               MAIDSTONE ROAD TQ 64 NE                                                   (east side)                                                   Beltring 3/39                                              Beltring House 23.5.67 GV                                                   II
House.  Early C19.  Painted brick in Flemish bond.  Slate roof.  2 storeys and attics.  Hipped roof.  Buff brick gable end stacks and two buff brick rear stacks towards centre.  3 dormers, each with hipped slate roof, pierced pendant wooden cornice, glazed sides and a twelve-pane sash.  Regular 8- window front of recessed twelve-pane sashes with blind-boxes.  Two sashes to right gable end.  French windows to ground floor.  Half-glazed double doors under third first-floor window from right.  Wooden verandah running along whole of front elevation.  Rear wing to right, with painted                                                            ground                                                                   floor, tile-hung first floor, and plain tile roof with lower eaves than main range but similar height ridge.  Single-storey wing to left of right wing.  Gable end stack to each wing.  Interior not inspected.
