OTTERDEN SEED ROAD TQ 95 SW (east side)
5/252 Rhode Fruit Farmnouse
II Farmhouse. Probably early C17 or earlier, with early C18 front. Timber framed, clad in red brick in Flemisb bond with occasional grey bricks. 2 storeys on flint plinth with plat band. Projecting eaves with flat soffit. Hipped roof. Brick ridge stack slightly off-centre to right and brick stack to left end. Irregular fenestration of four C19 two-light casements. Boarded door beneath stack under flat hood on exaggeratedly carved brackets. Datestone on central stack illegible from road. Interior not inspected.
