Full Description

A Middle-Acheulian handaxe, five and a half inches long, was found on a smallholding at the western end of King's Wood, Langley, just below the 400 ft. contour.(1) The axe is in the possession of Mrs. A. Hitchen, who marked the approximate find-spot at TQ 81205078.(a) (2)
