SUTTON VALENCE FORSHAM LANE TQ 84 NW (south side) Forsham (Formerly 5/127 listed as Foresham Farmhouse 26.4.68 GV II
Farmhouse. Late C16 or C17 with later alterations. Timber framed. Ground floor underbuilt with red and grey brick in Flemish bond. Broadly-spaced studding to first floor, with 4 tension braces and brick nogging. Plain tile roof. Lobby entry plan. 2 storeys and garret on stone plinth. Roof half- hipped to left. Brick ridge stack off-centre to right. Irregular fenestration of three 3-light casements. C20 ribbed door under stack. Rear lean-to to right. Central rear stair turret. Rear wing to left not included. Interior: exposed framing.
