Full Description

The following text is from the original listed building designation:
ROCHESTER ST MARGARET'S STREET TQ 7468 SW 9/241 Tomb Chest 15 metres NW of St Margaret's Church GV II Tomb chest. Early C19 (earliest date indecipherable), to members of the Nightingale family. Limestone, probably with brick core, on stone plinth. Chest with running-dog frieze, panelled pilasters containing inverted torch, moulded cap and plinth, the whole supporting a much smaller panelled chest.
