STROOD LONDON ROAD TQ 7369 SW 5/281 Nos 16 and 18 (formerly listed as part of Nos 10 to 20) 23.8.74 GV II House, now a shop. C18, with later alterations. Painted brick; concrete tile Mansard roof. End ridge stacks. 2 storeys and attic. Front: regular 4-window range. C20 shop front with recessed central entrance. 1st floor: plate-glass sashes in reveals under cambered window arches. Parapet with coping and cornice band. 2 2-light dormer windows.
