Full Description

The following text is from the original listed building designation:
ROCHESTER EASTROW TQ 7468 9/31 Troy House 24.10.50 II House. Circa 1790. Brick; Welsh slate hipped roofs with central valley. Double-deptch plan; central, rear and internal lateral stacks, the 2 former truncated. 3 storeys. Front: symmetrical, 3 bays; full-height canted side bays, the windows with hornless sashes (6:12:6 to 2nd, 8:16:8 to 1st and ground floors) under moulded wooden cornices. External shutters to ground floor. Central round-headed recessed doorway with impost bank, fanlight and panelled door. 9 and 12-pane hornless sashes to 2nd and 1st floor, centre. Parapet with stone coing returns to left side only. This side (to Union Street) with large, later windows, all blocked, the sills surviving, and one small modern plate-glass window to ground floor. Right hand single-storeyed extension with blocked windows towards Eastrow; sash windows to main side elevation (right).
