The following building shall be added to the list: TQ 66 SE UPPER HALLING THE STREET
12/61 No 6 Chapel Houses II
Cottage. Late C18. Built of brown brick in Flemish bond, side elevation rendered with incised lines to imitate masonry and tiled roof with end brick chimneystack. 2 storeys. 2 windows. C20 casements but in earlier surrounds. Ground floor has cambered head linings 2 S shaped iron ties. Cambered doorcase with plank door and outshot to rear. Rear elevation has plank door and older casement window. Interior has plank door, C19 matchboard panelling to ground floor with cupboards to side of fireplace. Timber studwork partitions with lathe and plaster.
