Full Description
[Area centred TQ 88846510] 'Celtic' pottery and possible loomweights found about 1902. (1) "Fragments of two large vessels of Celtic date, together with lumps of clay having holes through them", found when digging a grave in the new churchyard at Bobbing, shown to G. Payne by the Rev. D. Moor. (2) No further information on these items was gained and there is no record of subsequent finds (3). Additional references (4).
