TQ7669NE CENTRAL AVENUE, Pembroke 686-1/2/87 (South side) 06/06/84 Walls and gate piers enclosing front drive and W garden, former Captain's House (Formerly Listed as: HMS PEMBROKE (North side) Walls and gate piers to Captain's House)

Walls and gate piers. 1897-1902 by Sir Henry Pilkington. Brick with stone dressings. Walls have wide flat piers with sections between with sunken curved coping containing steel spearhead railings, and rusticated piers with coved cornice and ball finials. Wall steps down to the W and extends approx 50m round garden to W and N, the cut-outs partly blocked by brick. Part of the former HMS Pembroke barracks.
