STOKE CP HIGH STREET TQ 87 NW (west side) 3/85 Lower Stoke South View II Cottage. Circa 1800. Timber-framed and weatherboarded with plain tiled roof. Stack behind ridge. 2 storeys; 2 window front. Early C20 panelled door off- centre to right up 3 steps.

South View (grade II listed), Lower Stoke, is mentioned in the English Heritage Historic Area Assessment for Stoke Parish, part of the wider Hoo Peninsula study. South View is noted as the oldest domestic surviving building; a weatherboarded timber framed cottage that has been dated to either the 16th or 18th centuries. (2)
