COOLING CP TQ 77 NE & TQ 77 SE 2/27 & 6/27                                               Barn 20 yards south-east of                                               Cooling Court GV                                            II
Barn.   Early C18.   Red brick with brick buttresses;  plain tiled roof. Two wagon porches on west.   Interior:  9 bays.   King post roof.   Included for group value.

This feature is recorded in the English Heritage Historic Environment Record for the Cooling Parish. The report states: "An early 18th century brick barn (listed grade II) also survives but a granary, reputedly of a similar date was demolished in the mid 20th century leaving only its straddle stones."
