The following text is from the original listed building designation:
ROCHESTER          HIGH STREET TQ 7468 SW 9/137                                           Nos  111  and  113                                                 (formerly   listed                                                 as "The Two 23.8.74                                         Brewers") GV                                              II Formerly (probably 2) houses, now a shop and public house, with flats above.  Mid C18.  Brick; concrete pantile hipped roof with central ridge stack.   Front: 3 storeys, 4-window range (2.2). Parapet (partly rendered) with stone coping and brick cornice. Upper floors with window openings intact  (flat rubbed brick arches); 4-pane horned sashes with revealed frames to No 113; 12- pane sashes to 2nd floor, and C20 louvred plate flass windows to 1st floor, of No 111.   Circa 1900 shop front to No 111 with central canted entrance; public house with recessed half-glazed late C20 doors flanking tripartite window and panelled plinth.
