The following text is from the original listed building designation:
ROCHESTER HIGH STREET TQ 7468 7/62 Nos 64, 66 and 68 24.10.50 GV II Shops with storage above, originally a large town house. Early C18. Brick with Kent tiled roof. Clustered ridge stack with plain pots. 3 storeys with dormered attic. Regular 6-window range. Sashes in exposed frames under flat brick window arches, mostly 8 pane and hornless, but the two to the 2nd floor (right) with 18 panes and possibly original. Coved plaster eaves. 3 hipped dormers with moulded eaves and casement windows. Ground floor altered: plan, mid C20 plate-glass shop front to No 64; mid C20 window set in C19 surround with deeply recessed half-glazed door to No 66. No 68 largely early C19, three-quarter glazed door under rectangular overlight, the shop window with dentilled cornice and panelled plinth. Interior not inspected.
