Full Description

The following text is from the original listed building designation:
ROCHESTER HIGH STREET TQ 7468 SW 9/71 No 104 GV II Former house, now a shop. Circa 1800, possibly incorporating earlier work. Brick; Kent-tile roof runs parallel to street with dormer. 3 storeys. Front: painted; regular 2-window range. Parapet with depressed panel, stone coping and cornice band. Both upper floors with 12-pane hornless sashes in reveals under flat brick arches. Late C20 plate-glass shop front. Interior contains some good contemporary fittings including window surrounds (moulded to 1st floor, reeded to 2nd), doorcases, deeply moulded cornices, with H-hinges to attic door. The cellar is brick lined, with flagstone floor.
