The following text is from the original listed building designation:
ROCHESTER HIGH STREET TQ 7567 NW 13/159 Nos 329, 331, 333 and 335 GV II Row of 4 houses with original shops surviving to ground floor. Early C19. Painted brick (to front and left return); hipped roofs (Kent tiles to No 329, Welsh slate to No 331, concrete pantiles to Nos 333 and 335). Single depth plan, 3 storeys to front range, 2 storeys to rear wings (except No 335 which has been heightened). Front: 7 window range, alternate windows blocked to both upper floors. Parapet with stone coping; cornice band. All windows under flat brick arches. 12-pane sashes in reveals except to No 329 (2nd floor) where replaced by late C20 top opening casements. 4 ground-floor shop fronts with angle fluted pilasters with paterae at heads, friezes with swept profiles, projecting cornices, partly obscured by applied shop fascias.
