GV II
Wall enclosing St Margaret's Churchyard to E, S and W. Various dates, mainly early and mid. C19. Random rubble ragstone, clunch and flint with brick above (to E), all brick (with brick piers) to W, and including (at NE end) 2 square-section brick piers supporting overthrow with iron double gates. The Lychgate (brick piers and Kent-tile hipped roof with side benches) appears to date from c.1920. The section bounding the W side acts as a retaining wall and is a prominent feature overlooking an area of public open space.
