Full Description
[TQ 8124 6760] Coin. (1) Mr W. Prentis of Cosenden Farm, Rainham, has a 5th century Merovingian gold coin (obverse, a diademed head, SATSEBACIO; reverse, a cross upon a globe pearled, CIVNCIVLVS) found in a plantation near the south side of the lower road at Lower Rainham. Prentis Collection. (2) No information as to present whereabouts or date of finding of this coin obtained during field work (3). Additional reference (4).
