2. Row of early C19 cottages, each 2 storeys, 1 window. 2 builds. Low pitched slate roof. Stucco with incised lines. Yellow brick chimney stacks. Nos 5-9 have half-basement lights. Varied sash windows, some of early Cl9 with and without bars some of late Cl9. Doors mostly 6-Panel, some half glazed; 1 is 4-panel and I a modern plank door. Reeded door frames under small hoods. Included for group considerations.
The Post Office, Nos 1 to 9 (consec) (Park Place Cottages) Glencot, Yew Tree Cottage and Tanners Cottage, Southdown house, its garden wall and Southdown Cottage form a group.
