Monument record TQ 86 NW 12 - Neolithic/Bronze Age flint working floor, near Motney Hill, Gillingham
Summary
A Neolithic/Bronze Age flint working floor was discovered in 1952 on the marsh west of Motney Hill. From the site, part of a polished axe, a transverse arrowhead, a Neolithic/Bronze Age bone, scrapers and cores have been found and donated to the British Museum. A leaf-shaped arrowhead has also been found in the area and is in the hands of its finder.
