The following text is from the original listed building designation:
EDENBRIDGE EDENBRIDGE 1. 5280 High Street (East Side) No 59 TQ 4446 12/410 II 2. Late C18, 3 storeys, 3 windows. Red brick with diaper of blue headers. Hipped, swept tiled roof with moulded and modillioned eaves cornice. Mid-late C19 sash windows (those on 2nd floor with vertical bars) in earlier exposed moulded frames. On 1st floor 2 square bays with quasi-modillion cornices, also later C19. On ground floor late C19 double shop front and central double door defined by pilasters supporting fascia with modillion cornice and fancy brackets.
