The following text is from the original listed building designation:
SEVENOAKS KIPPINGTON ROAD TQ 55 SW 4/160 No. 138 (Blue Bonnets) (formerly Barberries) II
House. Built in 1924 by Baillie Scott & Beresford for Mr H M R Pothecary. Red brick, partly rendered, with steeply pitched tiled roof and 2 chimneys. Asymmetrical building of 2 storeys and attics. Left side has gable with casement 2 flat roofed dormers with casement. Centre staircase 2 storey entrances porch, jettied with end brackets, side-lights and 3 plank door. Right handside has tall window and casement and 3 light bay to ground floor. Rear elevation is mainly of brick with 2 tile hung wings to sides. Mullioned windows, including large central 2 light bay. Interior has contemporary staircase and mantlepiece.
