Full Description
On the south-western side of Otterham Creek I found an abundance of Roman pottery fragments which, from their weight had sunk deep into the mud. This pottery consisted of light red, pale yellow and stone coloured wares, but there was none of the bluish-black "Upchurch" ware (1). Additional bibliography.(2-4) Site now destroyed (5)
