The following text is from the original listed building designation:
DORSET STREET 1. 1614 (South Side)
Nos 6 and 7 TQ 5354/1/54 II GV 2. Possibly Cl7. 2 storeys. 2-window facade. Shop fronts on ground floor. First floor rendered with rusticated plaster quoins and centre plaster plaque with King's head and small recessed stone panel below with date 1605. 2 square projecting C19 oriel windows with plaster coves and containing casements. Moulded eaves and lead gutter. Ridge tile roof, half hipped to right.
Nos 4 to 8B (consec) form a group.

In 1994 a survey on cellars in the Sevenoaks area was undertaken. 7and 6 Dorset Street was found to have the entire floor area taken by the cellar. (2)
