The following text is from the original listed building designation:
HIGH STREET l. 1614 (West Side) Nos 7 to 11 (odd) TQ 5354/1/29 13.4.51 II GV 2. Row of late C18 cottages. Red brick-with blue headers. Brick plinth. 2 storeys. Moulded eaves and bracketed gutter. Ridge mansard roof with both ends half hipped. 4 flat-roofed leaded dormers. 2 ridge chimney stacks. Ground floor with one window and one door to each cottage. Centre doors side by side. Panelled doors with flat projecting bracketed hoods over. Up 2 steps to doors. Ground floor sash windows under flat segmental brick arches. All sash windows with glazing bars on both floors to left where glazing bars have been removed. First floor Pith 4 widely spaced sash windows. Window to extreme left with ornamental sunblind case. 2 centre windows under flat segmental brick arches; larger sash window to right with flat head. End elevations to north with painted weatherboarding on first floor.
Nos 7 to 17 (odd) form a group.
