1. 5280 EYNSFORD LULLINGSTONE LANE Lullingstone Dovecot at Lullingstone Castle TQ 56 SW 5/65 1.8.52 II GV 2. C18. Octagonal building faced with flints with red brick quoins at the angles of each side. Slate roof. Listing NGR: TQ5301664385 (1)

[TQ 5309 6453] Dovecote in the grounds of Lullingstone Castle (TQ 56 SW 18). 18th century octagonal building, faced with flints with red brick quoins. Slate roof. (2)

Dovecote at Lullingstone Castle, Grade II, Lullingstone Lane. 18th century. (For full description see list.) (3)

The dovecote is about 100 yards from the castle and church. It is octagonal in plan, and built of flint and red brick with a conical roof. The "potence" is still in position. (4)

Col.Meates said that an expert had examined the dove-cote and found it to be C18th, not Tudor as in (4). The potence is no longer in position. (6)
