The following text is from the original listed building designation:
EYNSFORD RIVERSIDE 1. 5280 No 20 TQ 5365 11/77 1.8.52 (Tudor Cottage) II GV 2. C16 or earlier timber-framed and close-studded building with cemented infilling. The first floor of the south front oversails with a small gable over. Large gable with scalloped bargeboards facing east. Tiled roof. C16 brick chimney stack. Two storeys and attic in the east gable. Two casement windows facing south, 2 casement windows facing east. This was probably originally an inn.
