The following text is from the original listed building designation:
HORTON KIRBY THE STREET 1. 5280 (west side) Ash Tree House (formerly listed as TQ 56 NE 3/202 Ash Tree) 1.6.67 II 2. C18. Two storeys and attics. Red brick and grey headers. The side elevations are of flint with red brick dressings. Brick stringcourse and modillion eaves cornice. Tiled roof with 2 dormers. Five casement windows with cambered head linings. The ground floor window linings have ogee arches. Doorcase with fluted pilasters, open pediment, rectangular fanlight and door of 6 moulded and fielded panels. Catslide roof to rear.
