Full Description

The following text is from the original listed building designation:
SWANLEY SWANLEY VILLAGE ROAD 1. 5280 (south side) The Priory TQ 5369 8/229 II CV 2. Circa 1820. Probably built by Edward Adams (died 1830) and originally called Upper Dalton. Two storeys stuccoed. Tiled roof. Five casement windows, 2 of which are in a 2 storey splayed bay. The ground floor has 2 left side French windows with round-heads. Doorcase has cornice having paired brackets and alternate paterae and rectangles, 2 Tuscan columns and 4 panelled door with rectangular fanlight. The rear elevation has a round-headed staircase window. Later C19 weatherboarded extension to right hand side. The interior has a staircase of Circa 1820 and mouldings and doors of the period.

Delisted in January 2018 as alterations over the years had reduced its historic significance.
