The following text is from the original listed building designation:
WEST KINGSDOWN SCHOOL LANE 1. 5280 (south-east side) Garage immediately to north-east of Oaklands TQ 56 SE 6/244 II GV 2. Circa 1820. Two storeys stuccoed. Ripped slate roof. Four pilasters separate end bays. Four sashes with glazing bars intact. Carriage arch in centre. Included for group value.
