SOUTH DARENTH - TQ 36 NE 3/10000 Central Warehouse building Horton Kirby Paper Mills II Warehouse to paper mill. c1870-80. Built of stock brick with red brick dressings. Slate roof with sawtooth cornice. 2 storeys: 2 parallel ranges. 1st floor has 17 round-headed windows with fixed metal casements with central opening lights and door with round-headed fanlight to left hand side. 8 large round-headed windows to ground floor. Interior ground floor has 8 round-headed bays. 1st floor has roof with scientific king post.
