The following text is from the original listed building designation:
1. 5280 BRASTED BRASTED CHART Oasthouses and drying shed to South-West of Outridge TQ 45 SE 45/76
II GV
2. C19 rectangular oast building of random rubble with freestone quoins. Tiled roof divided into 3 pyramidal oast hoods with octagonal wood cowls. At West end open basement floor under wide arch. Similar arch to barrel-roofed basement of early C19, drying shed adjoining to North. Low pitched hipped slated roof, weatherboarded 1st floor, rubble ground floor. Curved wall extension around to lane. On north side ground floor an open cart shed on wood posts.
Outridge, with Barn, Oasthouses and drying shed form a group.
