Summary

In January 1972, while on a project to survey the Lower Palaeolithic flint industry of Gillingham, a field which had been recently ploughed was walked and a small quantity of 17th and 18th century pottery was found. Site now thought to have been developed as a housing area.

Full Description

In January 1972, while on a project to survey the Lower Palaeolithic flint industry of Gillingham, a field which had been recently ploughed was walked and a small quantity of 17th and 18th century pottery was found at TQ 8031 6742. (1)
