Former kitchen wing, later flats and restaurant. Late C17. North front of red brick with grey headers and tiled roof, south front of painted brick to ground floor, weatherboarded to first floor and with slate roof One brick and one stone chimneystack. Two storeys. North front has 5 windows. Outer windows on first floor are lunettes, others tripartite sashes with 15 glazing bars. Ground floor windows are tripartite windows with 24 glazing bars and cambered heads. Brick stringcourse. Double door in penultimate bay from right. Further entrance to left between imported early C19 columns. South front has 4 C20 casements to first floor, one C20 casement to ground floor and gabled weatherboarded hoist in roofspace. Ground floor has doorcase to left with 4 panelled door and french windows to right with cornice and fluted columns. Interior has open fireplace with wooden bressumer. Originally this was a detached kitchen wing to Chiddingstone Castle with a granary above.
