Summary

Grade II listed building. Main construction periods 1467 to 1532 A pair of cottages which originated as a four-bay, timber-framed hall house of circa 1500. The open hall was floored in the late 16th century and a brick chimney was inserted sometime later.

2. Late C15 or early C16 hall house. l-bay hall, large left end and smaller, one-bay right end. Visible framing with filling of plaster and painted brick. 2 storeys, 4 windows, irregular. Hipped tiled roof with compound ridge stack. Lattice casements. 2 C19 doors under bracketed hoods. Projecting, weatherboarded left extension, formerly a stable, now a garage.
