2. Probably C16 timber framed building considerably altered. 2 storeys, 4 windows. Fairly high pitched tiled roof. On 1st floor visible timber framing with plaster filling and modern leaded casements. On ground floor 2 modern, but not too obtrusive, shop fronts.
Nos 3 to 9 (odd) and the Public Library form a group.
