EDENBRIDGE EDENBRIDGE 1. 5280 High Street (West Side) Stump of the Old Windmill TQ 4445 13/453 10.9.54. II 2. To rear - Brick stump of unused windmill with flat lead roof and ornamental weathervane. Historic Associations - The windmill was built in 1812 and was used to grind wheat until 1886. Its sails were removed in 1911, but it has recently been well restored and used as barn.

A tower mill used for the milling of wheat. The mill was built in 1812 and worked until 1886. The sails were removed in 1911. The remains of the mill have now been restored and roofed and are being used as a barn. (3)
