LEIGH LEIGH 1. 5280 High Street (South Side) Nos 1 to 3 (consec) (Oak Cottages) TQ 5446 19/694 II 2. Early C20 building in neo-Tudor style probably by Sir Ernest George. 2 storeys, 3 wide bays. 2 right bays under deeply overhanging gables with shingled peaks. Half timbered 1st floor, with roughcast filling, resting on heavily moulded beam. Set back left bay with blank, shingled 1st floor. Red brick ground floor. Leaded casements. Pent porch in angle.
