1. 5280 LEIGH LEIGH Powder Mill Lane (North Side) TQ 54 NE 51/723 Large Barn to South-East 10.9.54 of Ramhurst Manor House (Formerly listed as Tithe Barn at Ramhurst Manor) II* GV 2. Large mediaeval thatched barn with modern North aisle; and south aisle upper part rebuilt. Timber framed with 8 bays. Roof truss of tie beams and 2 collars resting on side struts. Wind-braced purlins at 2 levels. Trusses Nos 1, 4 and 7 have arch braced tie beams. The others have an additional lower tie at aisle roof level, the remains of walled upper chamber, now removed. Modern brick foundation and concrete floor.
