The following text is from the original listed building designation:
LEIGH COPPING'S ROAD 1. 5280 Wickhurst Farmhouse (old wing only) TQ 54 NW 50/649 II 2. C17 or earlier timber framed farm house with extensions to left and rear of 1895. Only older wing to be listed. 2 storeys, 3 windows, irregular. Large hipped gabled tiled roof with compound ridge stack. Tile hung 1st floor. Brick ground floor. Right hand windows ornamental iron casements. Left windows late C19 sashes. C19 central gabled timber porch to door with flattened Tudor arch. Large right end chimney, upper part rebuilt. Inside exposed chamfered beams.
