The following text is from the original listed building designation:
OTFORD OTFORD 1. 5280 High Street (North Side) The Horns Public House TQ 5259 21/766 II 2. Late mediaeval hall house with alterations. Tiled roof, now half hipped, with 2 returned front gables. Tile hung 1st floor. C19 red brick ground floor. Random stone plinth. l-storey and attic, irregular windows. C19 and modern square paned casements. l-storey central projection with hipped tiled roof. Inside much visible timber, C16 fireplace in bar and crown post in attic. Timber-framed extension of C16 or later date has some old window frames, with diagonal mullion holes, used as studs.
