PENSHURST. COLDHARBOUR ROAD 1. 5280 (North Side) Finch Green Cottage TQ 54 SW 54/802 II 2. Timber framed house, probably C16, with C17 lean-to back part. 2 storeys, 3 windows, irregular. High pitched tiled roof, half hipped at left with handsome tall ridge stack of old bricks. Weatheboarded 1st floor, modern brick ground floor. C19 and modern casements. Chimney built circa 1600 and whole upper part of house raised by some 6 ft at eaves level, possibly at this time or later Side butt purlin roof would accord with later date.
