2. Timber framed structure of 2 builds at right angles, one part running back from gable end at right. Projecting modern left extension of sympathetic design. Tiled roofs. Exposed vertical framing with stout diagonal braces and plaster filling on 1st floor at back end on ground floor at front; also on 1st floor of C17 jettied porch in angle to right wing. Tile hanging and brick elsewhere. There is a cross wing at left, behind the modern projection, which is probably the oldest part of the house, and of C16 date. In right return an early C17 oversailing gable on circular brackets. has 2-storey canted bay below; and chimney stack with coupled diagonal shafts. Modern leaded casements in old oak frames.
