2. Probably by George Devey. Connecting link over passageway supported on restored timber posts. C16 or earlier. First floor. Tile hung and ridge tile roof. Leaded windows. Step way up to rear with carved newel posts. (Note: Facing Church to rear painted board with text: "My flesh shall rest in hope."
Wall Cotdtage, Nos 1 to 3 (consec), the Archway, the Old Guildhouse and the Post Office and Retaining Wall form a group.
