Hamsell Farmhouse. Hamsell Cottage. TQ 54 SW 54/915

2. 1560 date in old ornamental plasterwork. 2-storey, 4-window house with 1-bay right extension. High pitched tiled roof now half hipped at left, with compound ridge stack. C19 tile hung 1st floor and red brick ground floor with diaper of blue headers. Some exposed framing. C19 and modern casements and plank doors. Rear view shows exposed square framing, with plaster filling at left, brick filling in projecting hipped wing at right. Other, later extensions. Inside inglenook and some exposed beams.
