2. Early C16 house with alterations. 2 builds. 2 storeys, 4 windows in all, irregular. High pitched, half hipped tiled roof. Shorter, higher right part with early C17 ridge stack. (This part has always had attic, although old window now blocked). Tile hung 1st floor C19 red brick ground floor with diaper of blue headers. Rendered plinth. C19 and modern casements. C17 lean-to with one dormer, sweeping low at back. Heavy exposed timbers inside. Swell head posts with long profile. Beams with wide chamfer. Inglenook complete. Remains of old diagonal-barred windows. Very heavy side-purlin roof with wind braces and stout collars.
