2. Formerly a single residence. C18 house, 2 storeys, 5 windows in all. Painted brick with tiled roof. Sash windows with bars removed in near-flush moulded frames. Wood pilaster and entablature surround to later door. Tile hanging on rear elevation.
Applewell, The Buck's Head Inn, Nos 1 & 2 (Pond Cottages) and Nos 1 & 2 (Old School House Cottages) form a group.
